Creating Stunning Resin driveways

The difference that a resin bound stone driveway makes can be dramatic, particulary when the original surface is looking dated like this one.

When the team turned up to work on this project they knew they were in for a bit of exercise. The paving slabs surrounding the house all had to be lifted for the new resin bound stone surface.

The team brought in the diggers, dumper truck and grab lorry to get the site cleared ready for the preparation phase for the new drive.

Once all the old material is cleared, along with plants we created the edging with blocks. Hardcore was delivered ready for the next phase.

The substrate is spread evenly over the new drive area and then "whacked" down to form a stong base.

The next stage is to lay an open grade tarmac which is permeable. This adds further strength to the new driveway and creates a great surface for the resin bound stone.

The work extends all the way to the public highway creating an attractive entrance to the property.

The next stage involves laying the resin bound stone on top of the open grade tarmac.

The difference is quite amazing.
